The National Historical Machinery Association Inc. is an association of enthusiasts formed in 1987 by a small number of clubs with similar interests which provide a fellowship for people with a common interest in collecting, restoring, exhibiting or being associated with old stationary engines, tractors, machinery and vehicles.
The National Historical Machinery Association Inc. continues to grow steadily. As of the 30th of June, 2007 the Association had an affiliation of 166 clubs with other 8,600 nominated members.
The National Historical Machinery Association Inc. is headed up by an Executive and a Committee of Management who continually strive to promote and develop the historical machinery preservation and restoration movement within Australia.
